Chicken Scalder
Commercial Chicken Scalders — Heated Water Tanks for Poultry Defeathering Preparation
TempSprite commercial chicken scalders provide the first step in the poultry processing sequence — loosening feathers with controlled hot water before defeathering. Correct scalding temperature and dwell time is the key variable that determines feather removal efficiency and skin condition on the finished bird. Both models feature adjustable 30–110°C water temperature, stainless steel construction, and a lift-out basket for controlled bird handling. ES-70L handles 3–5 birds per batch for smaller operations; ES-120L handles 7–8 birds per batch for higher-volume contracts.
